Station One

Main St., Grimsby, Ontario
We are very happy to announce that we along with a great team have won the Adaptive Re-use category of the Niagara Community Design Awards for the “Station One Coffee House” in Grimsby. This award recognizes the re-use of an existing building or buildings, and possible intensification of a site. The primary feature of this project is the re-use of the former building in a manner that demonstrates creativity, reintegrates the site into the community, and provides a mix of uses and choice into the surrounding neighbourhood.

This former Fire Hall is located in the heart of Grimsby, right in the middle of the business community. The scope of work was to transform the tired outdated space into a functional coffee shop with over 45 seats while not destroying the integrity of its former use.

Construction completed Summer 2013.¬†Like this project? Head to our “Contact Us” page.
